From Tired and Worn to Elegant and Fresh. Passed on from the client’s mother this home was in need of great repairs and a new vision.  Comfort, functionality, and aesthetics were priority to transforming the existing architectural elements into a modern design. Prioritizing circulation and functionality through a large open living space accommodating the kitchen, dining room, great room and living room space was the foremost design challenge. The designer aimed to add an elegant statement throughout with the use of lighting as small pieces of art to create cohesiveness. Thus, a perfect blend of various sizes and shapes imbibe a sophisticated look. Elements of wood, metal, stone and wall covering bring together a fully encompassed textured design.
