Gilbert Farmhouse

After traveling for many years, the client built this forever home for them and their growing family so they could finally have a place they could call home for the foreseen future. They aspired for this home to be sophisticated, understated, classy, and sensible.

The exterior of this home was a Farmhouse style and we wanted to maintain that feel throughout the interior. Rich walnut flooring was used throughout the home and custom-designed wainscoting and trim work gave the mature touch they anticipated. The kitchen is brought to life with its bold island; a colorful reading nook is a main focal point at the landing of the upstairs, built-in bunk beds with individualized bunk for each resident add a whimsical and youthful tough, and a laundry room bursting with color add their energetic personalities. Custom built-in cabinetry was used in many areas to maximize each space's capability as storage and functionality are crucial in this home.

The designer was tasked with touching every space in this home to give them unique individuality. Chrome and black fixtures were used to offer sparkle and depth to each space. The tile designs, millwork, and specialty wall treatments award this home a unique character unlike most homes surrounding Arizona neighborhoods.
